We love nothing more than relaxing on the sofa watching something interesting on the television. And with more time on our hands now we are enjoying discovering lots more exciting things to binge-watch.
I like to do these round-ups most months so that hopefully it gives you something new to watch too.
TV
Gardeners World
I am so happy to see Gardeners World back on the box! I have the magazine delivered monthly but watching the programme brings a little joy, motivating me to get stuck into our plans for the garden. And being able to share it with friends and family when it is safe to do so, whenever that may be.
Eastenders
I watch this every week so nothing new here. This is the only soap I do follow and have done so for years. I’m really enjoying the plots just recently. I do think they made the best decision to stop filming any more episodes for the foreseeable. The cast and production crew have just as much right to remain safe too, regardless of whether selfish fans have a strop or not!
Netflix
Ozark
Oh, my days this is amazing! Ozark has 3 seasons and we are currently on the last one. I don’t want to give anything away on this but it’s basically about a couple who are forced to move to the Ozarks after a money-laundering scheme goes wrong. If you like your crime dramas then this is one to watch!
Spenser Confidential
We watched this movie just the other week and it was really good. Starring Mark Wahlberg as Spenser, an ex-cop and ex-con is on a mission to uncover a conspiracy tied to the deaths of two police officers.
Sky
4 Kids and It
We watched this one with our boys on Monday. It’s such a lovely family film and a fantastic re-make of the classic.
Lion King
Loved this one so much! We are all over Disney in our house and we were all glued to the screen throughout. I may have had something in my eye in parts of this! Hehe. Disney, having the power to make adults emotional when Mufassa dies! Really?!
Papillion
Papillon, played by Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy), is based on the true tale of Henri Charriere, an infamous safe-cracker from Paris. After stealing diamonds from a gangster, he gets framed for murder and imprisoned at Devils Island in French Guiana. Papillion teams up with Rami Malek who plays a millionaire convicted counter fitter to finance his escape. The story unfolds to leave you on the edge of your seat wondering if they are going to be successful. This is fantastic!
Terminator Dark Fate
Another great sequel with brilliant special effects. My favourite by far was Terminator 2 but this is a very close second. If you are a fan of these films then you will love this one just as much.
What have you been watching?
You may like our other TV round-ups full of ideas of what to watch.
Pin me!

I don’t know why but I didn’t think you were an Eastenders fan. I love all the soaps and they have made the right decision to stop filming. I’m wondering if any of them are going to mention the coronavirus in future storylines.
4 Kids And It is on our list to watch too.
I love The Lion King and the Terminator films. Even the rubbish one’s but T2 will always be my favourite.
Becky & I are watching The Walking Dead together, from the beginning. It’s all new to her. x
Spenser Confidential sounds really good! I’m adding it to my list.
I’ve been watching Locke and key on Netflix. I was absolutely hooked! Ozark sounds good, I might give that a go.
Loving the Walking Dead at the moment. Can’t wait for the season finale later this year!
The only one of these we’ve been watching is Gardener’s World – I love it anyway, but especially with us in lockdown as it’s a reminder life goes on & is so calming too! #MMBC
I’d like to watch Gardener’s World – is that on BBC? #MMBC
My husband really enjoys Ozark too but I just can not get into it. I prefer light/ comedy shows like The Big Show show that Netflix just came out with.
We’ve been watching Tiger King but Ozark sounds good, we might have to check that out next.
