Today You Are 9 Years Old!

Today we start the week with a not so little 9-year-old in the house. Today my big boy is celebrating his 9th birthday!  I really can’t believe where the time has gone. Every year I say this, but it’s true! How can you be another year older already? Happy birthday little man.

You are doing so well with your home-schooling. You are a font of knowledge and always surprise people with your random facts and passion for learning. You sure do have an older head on your shoulders. Since we made the decision to home educate you, we have watched your confidence grow so much.

You are an amazing big brother. Although you do torment Joben more than you should! You can actually get along and be the very best of friends which is refreshing after having to play referee in your daily wrestling matches! Deep down I know you will be there for Joben whenever he needs you and vice versa.

You love dancing and being centre stage!  You spread energy and happiness into any room that you enter. You are invigorating!
You also have the best sense of humour. Your dad and I are often in tears at some of the things you say. You would give some comedians a run for their money.

You are growing, fast! You are considerably taller now than you were last month. You have had a big growth spurt and it shows! I can’t believe that we have gone up a size in our shoes now too. You are now a size 1, that is only 4 sizes smaller than me!

One word that sums you up well……Loving. You are so loving and caring, it makes me super proud to be able to call you mine.  You give the best cuddles and will openly show your affection no matter who is watching. I make the most of each and every one of them, because I know one day, you will be busy enjoying the world and making something wonderful of your life. But nothing will change the fact that you will always be my beautiful boy. I will always be there for you no matter what, by your side always and forever. Happy 9th birthday Jayden, we love you to the moon and back one million, billion, trillion, zillion times. xx
