I have to admit, I do like a bit of organisation around the house. Being a work from home mum and homeschooling our children, I need some structure to keep me sane! If you are in need of a little help to manage the day to day running of your home, then The Easy Life by Lynsey Crombie might come in handy.
The Easy Life by Lynsey Crombie – Published by Welbeck Publishing
You may know Lynsey as TV’s Queen of Clean. She first got her break on Channel 4’s Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners. Nowadays you can find her sharing lots of useful tips and tricks on ITV’s This Morning. Lynsey Crombie has picked up little snippets of knowledge from generations of people that she has worked for as a cleaner. She has taken some of this knowledge and compiled this book. The book is not all about cleaning though, it gives everyone tips on how to make your life more organised. We all know the benefits of being properly prepared for something and this book focuses on improving your mental health and well being by making your life easier to manage.
The book has four main chapters, which are the seasons of the year. In each of these chapters you will find amazing tips and tricks that can help you at these points of the year. There are tons of resources in the book, including, spring clean checklists, cleaning challenges, how to ease back into a routine after your holiday and planning for Christmas.
There are lots of cleaning tips in the book as well. Not just how to clean things properly, but also how to care for your home and furnishings. There are recipes for household cleaners that contain only natural ingredients and scores of products that you never knew you could even use to clean with!
This book provides plenty of motivation to tackle even the largest household chores. I have find myself constantly dipping into it to find tips to make my life and our home run a little easier. After all, no-one needs anymore work to do now, do they?
