If you pop by here regularly then you will know we have recently gained another addition to our family. Our labrador puppy Annie is such a fun little character. But as all dog lovers know, having a puppy is a huge responsibility and can be quite expensive too. We have partnered up with wilko to share some of their awesomely cheap dog essentials that suit all budgets.
Wilko dog accessories that won’t break the bank!
We kindly received some gorgeous puppy goodies for Annie.
Wilko Pet Grooming Glove £3
The pet grooming glove has a thermoplastic rubber stippled surface that removes loose dog hair and dander from their coats while you are stroking them. It is not as aggressive as a brush or a comb so is kinder on their skin and you can also use it to remove hair from your furnishings.
Wilko Natural Bear Dog Toy £4
The natural bear squeaky dog toy is adorable. It is soft and cuddly, perfect for young puppies to snuggle up to in their beds. There is a squeak in the body of the bear which Annie is just getting to grips with. It is a perfect size and has quickly become one of her favourite toys.
Small Paw Design Pet Bed £20
The paw design soft dog bed is a superb bed for any dog. The sides are soft, it is well padded and has a non-slip surface on the bottom of the bed for hard floors. The super-soft cushion is removable and the whole bed can be washed to stop it from smelling doggy. The bed is available in small, medium or large. We have the small for our puppy who will be in it for a few months yet. The small is the perfect size for puppies and adult dogs of Jack Russell or Yorkshire Terrier size.
Medium Stainless Steel Dog Bowl £2
The medium stainless steel dog bowls are perfect for food or water. Measuring 21cm across and 6.5cm deep they hold more than enough food for most breeds of dog. At just £2 they are an absolute bargain!
Luxury Washable Mat Paw £8
The washable paw mat is super soft and absorbs really well. The rubber backing stops any spillages from seeping through the mat as well as stopping it slipping on hard floors. I have already washed the mat a couple of times and it is really easy to throw in the washing machine then dry on the line or over a radiator. It comes out looking like new every time.
I use wilko for a whole load of different purchases, but if you are thinking of getting a new furry addition to join your family, I can’t recommend wilko enough for all of your puppy necessities.

We don’t have a dog yet but my kids would LOVE one – need to move from a 4th floor flat first! #MMBC
Love shopping at Wilko as it is such great value. We bought a lot of our doggy items from there when we first got our puppy.
