Last weeks meal plan went down exceptionally well. The meal planning has definitely been a huge help with Slimming World dinners, as a lot of the meals as you know are cooked from scratch, so I can make sure I have all of the ingredients by planning ahead.
Here is what we will be eating this week.
Monday – Char Sui Pork Noodles. I have this dish when I am not following Slimming World. Everyone enjoys it and there is never anything left on their plates!
Tuesday – Spaghetti bolognese. A firm favourite in our house. A quick no-fuss meal that tastes great.
Wednesday – Chicken risotto. I love this as it really fills me up and stops the temptation of stuffing my face with all the bad snacks! Hehe.
Thursday – Cheesy broccoli bake. Introducing a meat-free meal every week is going down really well. I could seriously eat cheesy broccoli bake every day!
Friday – Bacon, squash and sweet potato stew. Fantastic at the end of a cold day and ready in less than an hour. You could pop it in the slow cooker and let it cook itself over the afternoon.
Saturday – Jacket potatoes with chilli for Craig and I and probably tuna and sweetcorn for the boys as they don’t do chilli.
Sunday – Roast chicken dinner with mashed potato, roast carrots, parsnips with spring greens.
What meals have you got planned for the week ahead? Do you meal plan or do you prefer to improvise?
