Meal planning for families.

Last week’s meal plan went really well. The next few weeks are going to be more Slimming World friendly. Working from home makes it really easy for me to snack and I feel I need to take more control of my diet. I love how Slimming World is not invasive on your daily life. You can still enjoy what you like to eat yet it minimises the crappy fatty foods at the same time. Another plus is that Slimming World meals are family-friendly so we can all enjoy them.

So here is what this week’s meal plan looks like.

Monday – Chicken salad stuffed wholemeal pitta breads. A quick and easy dinner to prepare for the start of a new week.

Tuesday – Slimming World keema curry pies. Keema curry topped with creamy mash potato. We’ve not tried this one before so I’m really looking forward to making this.
The boys are having blueberry and buttermilk pancakes for tea!

Wednesday – Homemade chicken nuggets and chips. I do like how you can still have carbs on SW.

Thursday – Meatballs with pasta in a spicy tomato sauce. Everybody in our house loves pasta and meatballs so it’s a win-win all around.

Friday – Cheesy ham and potato hash.

Saturday – Slimming World sausage, chips and dippy egg bake. I’ve got some reduced-fat sausages for this and some parsley to sprinkle on top.

Sunday – Roast dinner, either chicken or beef.

I will be popping the recipes up for some of these meals in the next few weeks, as well as any other slimming world meals we have that we really like.

What meals have you got planned for this week? Do you meal plan?
