How are we at the end of another month already? It doesn’t seem five minutes since I was writing last month’s Likes and Loves! I do love this time of year though, cosy evenings in front of the fire, trees sprinkled with hues of yellow as autumn arrives, aw I love it!
Now to share our likes and loves for September.
*Tea and Cake!
The past few weeks have been so busy I’ve hardly had any time to myself at all. So when I did have a break time, I made sure I had a cup of tea in hand and a super tasty cupcake from Fatherson Bakery to enjoy in the other.
You can order from their website and have home essentials and all kinds of loveliness delivered straight to your door!

Joben’s Assessment
My youngest boy has recently been diagnosed with autism and he did absolutely amazing at his assessment, that’s why I think it deserves a special mention in our likes and loves this month. Not once did he complain, he enjoyed meeting the staff and had so many compliments from the ladies! We are so incredibly proud of our little man and we can now help even more to better support his needs going forward.
*Milkshake That Brings The Boys To The Yard
My two love milkshakes and their absolute favourite, and mine, is Shaken Udder. I think Joben’s face says it all! Our favourite at the moment is Chocolush! It’s made with Belgian chocolate and tastes so creamy! They contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and we even made a banana custard tart using the Shaken Udder Top Banana! Milkshake.

Exploring With Annie
It’s hard to believe that our Annie is 9 months old already! She is such a loveable girl she really is.
She is so good off the lead and doesn’t wander off too far. She is a typical Labrador though and goes off into the undergrowth, head down and sniffing as she goes along.
Poor Annie has found a few wasp nests doing this and myself, Craig and Annie have all been stung as a result. We have decided to stay away from the towpaths for a few weeks until the wasps start to die off, I don’t want the boys getting stung, nor this little blondie either!
*BBQ Food
We’ve had a few BBQs in September and the Real Good sauces that we were kindly sent went down a treat on our burgers.
They are both low in fat, have no added sugar, allergen-free and vegan friendly.
Available from Co-op, Morrisons, Ocado and Amazon Prime.

*Crafting
I like crafting any time of the year but I have done lots of autumnal and Halloween crafts this month.
We were kindly sent some bits and bobs from Aldi’s crafting range and I have to say it’s great value. There’s an ample choice of yarns, fun crochet kits like this cute DIY monster one, adult colouring books, fat quarters and much more.
All of which are perfect for the colder months ahead when all you want to do is cosy up indoors and get crafty!

Finding A New Series To Binge Watch!
Oh, I do love it when you find something really good to watch on TV. We have recently discovered Designated Survivor and although we are a little late to the party, we are absolutely hooked! We have been watching it in bed most nights and it’s brilliant. I do think Kiefer Sutherland plays an amazing part as president. Definitely worth a watch if you haven’t already!
What have you been up to?

The months are flying over. It will be Christmas before we know it.
Those cakes look so good! What a lovely way to treat yourself.
Well done Joben. It sounds like he has coped with the assessment so well.
We had a delivery of Shaken Udder milkshakes today. I am trying to make sure the kids don’t drink them all in one go. hehehe
Annie really is a sweetheart and she’s grown so much. You do right staying off the towpaths, away from the wasps.
Ohh! I do like the luck of Designated Survivor x
We love Designated Survivor too, Keifer Sutherland is so good in it!
Those cupcakes look divine – yes please! #MMBC
