Fun In The Pool

It’s always nice to get the paddling pool out when it’s so warm and muggy. These two have enjoyed lots of water play over the past few weeks. It’s always nice to hear the sound of giggles and laughter from this cheeky duo!

Sand Play

We’ve had the sand table out too. Joben added his Playmobil toys in for good measure and sat there for ages making ice-creams and other weird and wonderful creations!
We are looking forward to having a little break away where we can make sandcastles on the beach.

Rain Rain Rain!

After our mini heatwave, I never thought I would be so happy to see it raining! To feel the air instantly cool down was just total bliss. The downpour did my flowers and the lawns the world of good too!

*Modibodi

I have recently been introduced to period pants! Without going into too much detail, I have always suffered with my monthly’s. Every month I get the most awful cramps and have a very heavy flow for the first couple of days.
I chose to try out my new Modibodi Sensual High Leg Bikini on night 3 and they did not disappoint!
I remained dry throughout the night, which was quite amazing given how heavy my period was. You can also wear them for slight leakage if you suffer from a weak pelvic floor after childbirth.
They are super comfortable, come in all shapes and sizes and look fab too. Love, love love!

*Making Music!

Jayden has really loved the Sphero Specdrums this month. This super powerful little ring pairs with the app on your phone or tablet, whenever you tap the ring against a colour, a sound is played through the app. It comes with a colour keyboard but you can tap absolutely anything. You can change the sounds in the app from a keyboard to drum kits and even record your own sounds. Great portable fun that Jayden has just not put down.

*Discovering New Books

Drastic Plastic and Troublesome Trash from Carlton Books is a brilliant way to introduce little ones to global warming, wildlife in danger and advancing technology.
Full of hands-on activities on how to cut down on waste and lots of fun recycling projects, children are made aware of environmental issues and how they can help to preserve this amazing world we live in.
This is an awesome resource for our homeschooling and would be great for classrooms too.

*A Sparkly Smile!

A few months ago I moved dentists. I felt that our old one wasn’t very suitable for us all as a whole. There was no consistency as we never seemed to have the same dentist, and they seemed a little rough handed. Not wanting the boys to fear the dentist because of this we moved and our dentist is just the best!
And to top off our clean smiles, we now have a lovely bamboo Humble toothbrush!

*Breakfast

I love breakfast time and this month I have been waking up to The Great British Porridge Co. Their instant porridge is ready in 60 seconds, simply add hot water!
There are 3 scrumptious flavours to choose from – Blueberry & Banana, Strawberry & Peanut Butter and Gogi Berry & Pumpkin Seed.
I love that all three have a crunchy texture to them, they are gluten-free, high in fibre, no added sugar, 11% protein and Vegan.
I think my favourite is blueberry & banana.
