It’s time for another likes and loves post and the first one of this year! Likes and loves is a monthly round-up of all the things both big and small that we have appreciated lately.
You can catch up here on some of our previous likes and loves, but for now, here is what we’ve been enjoying in January.
Frosty Mornings
There has been plenty of frosty mornings in January and I love them! Everything looks so pretty and it’s nice and fresh on our early morning walk. Even Bruce has been wearing his coat!

*Bruce’s New Bed

Colouring
Joben loves colouring and finds it calming when he gets sensory overload. This makes me happy because I remember the joy colouring brought me when I was a child too! I still enjoy colouring to this day and often sit at the table with the kids and colour in with them. It’s a nice bit of downtime and it gets the boys off those screens even just for a little while!

Playing Dreamlight Valley
Aside from reading a good book, another way that I like to chill out and wind down after a busy day is to play my Nintendo Switch. We are all big gamers in our house, so you will often find one of us totally lost in a game!
I have a few favourites at the minute and Disney Dreamlight Valley being one of them. It’s such a lovely game with lots of little quests you have to complete in order to help your Disney friends out.
The gameplay actually reminds me a little of Animal Crossing so that’s most probably why I like it so much. That and the fact that the graphics are brilliant and it’s a real cosy game.

We love that Jamu Wild Water and what a fantastic bed for Bruce. He deserves the best. Those trainers look so comfy and that does sound like a lovely game. x
