The arrival of spring brings with it many reasons to love the season. From the warmer temperatures and much-welcomed sunny days to the natural beauty that comes with the blooming of the flowers. Sprinkles of daffodil shoots emerging from uncut grass is one of my favourite telltale signs of spring. They bring promises of golden displays after the dull undertones of winter.
As we love daffodils, I’m sharing our super easy DIY Paper Daffodils craft which is a lovely spring activity to do with the kids!
Download our FREE Paper Daffodil Template.
What You Will Need –
You hardly need anything for this craft and you will probably have the majority of these supplies at home.
- Our free daffodil template printable
- Popsicle/lolipop sticks
- Cupcake cases
- A4 card
- Glue
Print off the template onto some A4 card.
Cut out the daffodil heads and stick them, using a glue stick, to the popsicle sticks.
Then stick your cupcake case to the front. We had run out of green popsicle sticks in our craft stash so we painted these ones.
This is such a fun activity to do with the kids and it’s fab for encouraging fine motor skills, improving hand-eye coordination and most of all it promotes creativity.
