Easter is almost here and today I am sharing another easy peasy craft with you. This cute pom bunny is ridiculously easy to make. You only need a handful of things and they make great Easter decorations to pop on a shelf.
Easter Pom Pom Bunny In A Basket
What you will need
Grey yarn
Pom Pom maker
Sheets of pink and grey felt
Basket
Shredded tissue paper
Carrot treat containers
Chocolate/sweets for fillers
I started with making two pom poms. I used the 9cm pom pom maker for the body and the 7cm for the head.
When you tie your length of yarn around your pom poms be sure to leave enough to tie the two lengths together when you join the body to the head.
Then cut your ears out of the felt sheets. As you can see by mine, they don’t have to be perfect. I just cut mine out freehand.
I then used my glue gun to stick the pink layer on and glued the bottoms and pinched together. This will make them more stable and easier to attach to the head.
You can add some eyes and a nose if you wish. I had some beads, so used those. However, if this is for a small child then these would not be suitable.
Everyone loves a bit of chocolate at Easter! So I popped some mini oreo eggs into our cool carrot fillers.
After the treats were done, I filled our multicoloured basket with this lovely bright green shredded tissue paper and popped everything in.

Aww! That is just adorable! What a fab craft idea for this time of year…I haven’t made pom poms for years. I used to love to as a child. There was no pom pom maker though it was always two pieces of cardboard. lol #MMBC

My daughter loves making pom-poms so I’m sure we’ll be giving this a go. So far we’ve made some easter bunting and just got some Easter themed cake toppers so we can make a selection of cakes.
