Can you believe September is almost out? It feels like we blinked, and now we’re diving into autumn. I do love this season, from the crisp air to the changing leaves, and an excuse to get my pumpkins out! Haha.
As we head into a new month, it’s that time when I share our Likes and Loves for the previous month.
So, here’s what we’ve been enjoying in September!
Rude Health Goodies
We’ve just come across Rude Health and we’re loving what they’re all about! They offer a whole range of healthy goodies, from dairy-free drinks to breakfast cereals and snacks, all made with real, natural ingredients. No artificial stuff, just wholesome food that’s actually good for you. Their vibe is all about enjoying food that makes you feel great, without sacrificing taste or quality.

New Pillows
I always struggle to find a pillow that feels comfortable. I don’t know what it is but I get through so many.
I’m already a bog fan of Simba (I have a Super King bed from them and it is so comfy). The pillows are equally as snuggly and you can even adjust how much filling you want inside.
I normally sleep with two pillows, but just one of these is ample.

Reading
Another thing I love about autumn is cosying up with a good book.
I have had many books from Books2Doors. They have a huge choice of books of all different genres and they have some amazing deals on too.
I’m working my way through this Booktok Romance & Fantasy Bundle which includes ten fab titles…
- It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey
- Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey
- Dating Dr. Dil by Nisha Sharma
- Tastes Like Shakkar by Nisha Sharma
- Reckless by Elsie Silver
- A Pen Dipped in Poison by J.M. Hall
- We’ll Meet Again by Anton Du Beke
- The Familiars by Stacey Halls
- The Mister by E L James
- The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods
I will be reviewing these over the next few weeks, so do pop back if you are looking for new books to read.

Slimming World
I’m still loving group at Slimming World. After taking a break during some of the summer holidays, I’ve only gained a few pounds which I’ve pulled back. Just happily chipping away lb by lb. I like Slimming World as it doesn’t feel as restricted as some of the other fad diets I have tried in the past. I only end up piling the weight back on after I come off them.
Autumn decor
I love decorating for the seasons, especially autumn. I love my pumpkins from Temu and my little house from George.
Any excuse to buy even more nik-nacks from the shops!

Gaming
We are all gamers in our house. I mainly play on our PS5 or my Switch but I’ve wanted a gaming PC for ages.
My lovely friend Kim and her partner Stu, helped us out when we were buying our son a gaming PC. Stu knows his stuff and all of the tech jargon.
After that, I got my hubby one and he loves playing on it. There are loads of games I like playing that are only available/better on PC, and now I can finally play them, on my PC. My hubby bought me one for an early wedding anniversary gift!
I’m currently playing Lake which is fab. The only thing is, my work desk comes off to the right of this, so I have to avoid the temptation not to game while working! Hehe.

Early morning Walks
I’ve been trying to get more steps in so I’ve been going on some early morning walks. I much prefer to go early when the world is peaceful! I live on a canal and it gets absolutely crazy busy at times. Since they have turned the grassy towpaths into gravelled paths, there are so many people using it, so I like to go while it’s quiet and not have to dodge the bikers every two minutes with my donkey-sized dog.

Picture of said donkey… Barney with my youngest boy.

What have you enjoyed lately?
Love the autumn month, cosy nights in!
I agree with you you that Autumn seems like a great time to cosy up with a great new book!
I love early morning walks too. We are lucky as we live on the coast and it’s so nice to walk along the beach when there is no one on it as the area we live in is full of tourists in the summer. I do like like autumn but I do miss summer already!
I love the hazlenut Rude Health milk! Barney is a very handsome donkey!
I’m always looking for new books to add to my TBR pile so will be checking out your upcoming reviews!
I’m reading Dating Dr Dil at the moment, and it’s unexpectedly good!
This month has flown over but I am loving the start of Autumn.
The Rude Health Goodies do sound good and I love the sound of those pillows! How cool that you can adjust the filling.
Great job with Slimming World and how pretty is your Autumn decor! The little house from George is so cute!
Well done Craig for getting you a gaming PC. I’ll have to show Stu. He’ll be well impressed.
The walks by the canal must be lovely on a morning when it’s still quiet. Oh wow! Barney is a big boy, it doesn’t seem that long ago that he was a tiny little thing! x
I will check out those Simba pillows.
This month I’m liking the various types of Japanese Anemones in garden centres and people’s gardens. They seem to flower for ages and pollinators like them.
Ive been halloween prepping and reading
Reading has been one of my main activities recently. Getting cozy is always wonderful. I wonder if Rude Health is available in the US? It looks good.
That looks like an amazing book list! I nearly picked up The Lost Bookshop today.
I’ve really upped my reading game this year! This is a fab looking list of books!
So many likes and lovez- I’m just off to source new pillows
Interesting read with my coffee
I’d like to try the Rude Health products, will look out for them in the shops.
I will have to try the SIMBA pillow. I always have 2 pillows but have a lot of neck problems and need to try something new
Currently enjoying hot baths, walks and movie nights . I love this time of year because I tend to look after myself better .
