May has been and gone so that means we have another Likes and Love to share. Each month I like to highlight our favourite things and fun memories. It’s a nice way to appreciate the little things in life that we all too often overlook with our busy schedules.
Here is what we liked and loved in May!
*Skincare
I have suffered from rosacea for quite some years now. Although in my case it’s only mild, I still have to buy foundations that calm down red tones.
When I discovered Kalme, I was excited to try it. The Kalme range is perfect for skin that is prone to rosacea, redness and sensitivity. The plant-based ingredients help soothe, reduce reactivity, smooth out bumps and rehydrate the skin.
I’ve been using the concealer and night repair cream for a few weeks now and I am so impressed with the results, I now use it as part of my daily skincare.
Beach
We had a lovely time on our holidays in North Wales. The beach is our favourite place to be and you know how fun it is as a kid, my boys played for hours with the dog, just splashing in the sea and collecting shells.
Everything is better by the sea, isn’t it?!

Birthday Celebrations
My eldest turned 12 this month. I can’t believe that I will have a teenager next year. My boys are growing up too fast for my liking!
Jayden had a fab time and was very lucky to get a gaming PC, something that he has wanted for quite some time now. Thankfully my lovely friend Kim from Life As Kim asked her partner Stu for some advice on what was the best gaming PC to buy. He is very clued up when it comes to tech so we were so lucky to have the help.
*Fun Bathtimes
My two have always loved bathtime. They generally have a bath full of bubbles and toys. Kids Stuff has a lovely range of kids’ bathtime products. We’ve tried their colour changing bubble bath and foaming soap and the kids love them. All of these fun bathtime products are available from Boots.
*Puzzles
Jigsaw puzzles are a fab activity to do with the kids and an ideal way to destress and relax.
Wentworth has the most beautiful wooden jigsaw puzzles. With every theme imaginable and unique whimsy pieces that fit the theme of the jigsaw.
They come in a colourful presentation box along with a purple fabric drawstring bag for storage. They really are stunning and would make a thoughtful gift for upcoming birthdays or Father’s Day.

Steam Trains
The boys love the historical steam engines at Ffestiniog Railway. This time we took a ride on the Woodland Wanderer which travels through the heart of the woodlands of the Snowdonia National Park. The views are just breathtaking and the kids really enjoyed it, especially our youngest.

North Wales is a lovely area to visit. There are some magnificent castles in the region

My son bought himself a gaming computer last year after saving up forever to buy one and spending lots of time researching all the ins and outs… he just LOVES it!
