How are we heading into June already? I will be sorting my Christmas shopping out at this rate!
We had lots of lovely things to share in April’s likes and loves and even more so in this month’s round-up.

Here is what we have been enjoying in May.

 

*Lovely locks

Having ridiculously thick long hair, I love nothing more when I discover a hair product that can tame my unruly frizzy mop.
I’ve been using OGX products for quite some time as my hairdresser recommended them.
My hair feels much more manageable after using the coconut miracle oil range. My split ends aren’t so noticeable and my hair definitely has more shine afterwards. It smells amazing too!

I’ve also been curling my hair whilst waiting for my hairdresser’s appointment. The straighteners just can’t cope until I have some weight taken out. The OGX Morrocan Sea Salt Wave Spray is infused with sea salt and argan oil to help give an undone beach wave look. Simply spray on to damp hair and scrunch or diffuse.

*Spring Cleaning

Nothing beats getting home and walking into a clean and tidy house. Well, clean I can tick off but tidy is debatable with my two boys and the dog causing chaos.

Animal Crossing

Fortnite, Call Of Duty, you name it we most probably play it. Our latest addiction is Animal Crossing and we are all hooked. It’s such a lovely game and has got me through many lockdown days! Jayden really makes me smile because he keeps on sending me little love notes with a present attached bless him.
So if you are on Animal Crossing let me know, I will pop over to your island for a little nosey.

I love nothing more than buying the boys a new book each and even more so when they are educational as well as fun.

Antarctica – A Continent of Wonder by Mario Cuesto Hernando

Antarctica published by Prestel is a beautiful book where children can go on an expedition to the Antarctic, starting the journey on the Polar Star.
There is so much to discover including wildlife, volcanoes, what is being researched in Antarctica, snowstorms and so much more!
The fantastic illustrations by Raquel Martin really bring the book to life. Antarctica is such a wonderful learning resource and it gets a big thumbs up from us.

Hanging baskets

I love how hanging baskets instantly brighten up the front of the house. We have a bit of a mix in the baskets this year including petunias, begonias, fuchias, calibrachoa, portulaca and more!
