It’s that time again where we share our likes and loves for the previous month. It only seems like yesterday that I was sharing our March round-up. How can we be heading into May already?!
Anyhow, here is what we have been enjoying in April.
*Tasty Condiments
Rubies in the Rubble has a range of award-winning condiments made using produce that is destined for the rubbish bin. Pears that are the wrong size for supermarkets, bananas that have blemishes in the skin, or cucumbers and carrots that are the wrong shape. All of these are ingredients in Rubies relishes and sauces. Their mayonnaise is made from surplus aquafaba that would also be discarded. Not only do their products utilise hundreds of tons of food that would be wasted, but they also taste fantastic too!

Bubbles Fun
We have been having some amazing weather in April so we spent lots of time in the garden. The boys have always enjoyed bubbles for as long as I can remember. We had a great time playing with the giant bubble set. Joben found the bubble wands really easy to use and played for most of the afternoon with them until all of the bubble solution had gone!

*Baking
If you are looking for a pleasant and quick activity to do with the kids then I highly recommend Carr’s kids baking sets. Their bread kit is so easy to use as all of the ingredients (except for water and a little butter) are incorporated into the mix. The boys had great fun kneading the dough and we made hot dog rolls which went down a storm. The biscuit kit needs a block of butter but made lovely short biscuits which never even cooled fully before they were devoured!

*A new cleaner!
Having to clean up after two boys every day can be quite tiring, so I will take any help that I can get. Meet my little pet robot vacuum. We recently partnered up with Moosoo to review one of their awesome vacuum cleaners and I bloody love it! It’s so awesome I will be telling you all about it in an upcoming review.
BBQs
We managed to have a couple of BBQs in April. I think that is good going considering the weather is still quite chilly at this time of year.
It was nice to sit down as a family, have a natter and being the crazy bunch that we are, there was plenty of laughter too.
By the way, those sausages in the middle are beyond amazing! Asda’s extra special caramelised red onion sausages are the way forward, they taste so good.

What have you been enjoying lately?
I love the look of the baking kits and it sounds like the baked goods were very much enjoyed by you all. Love the look of the giant bubble set as well – Sophie and Thomas would love those. It is nice to start enjoying barbecues again – those sausages sound very yummy. #MMBC
Would love one of those vacs CERTAINLY make life easier
I haven’t heard of Rubies in the Rubble condiments before. They sound perfect for the summer and all the BBQ’s that we’ll be having.
I love the Carr’s bread mixes. They really are simple to make. x
So jealous of the robot vacuum, I’m not allowed one!
I love baking with my daughter, those Carrs baking sets would make it more simple. I have been enjoying lots of ice creams and walking in the sun along the coast with the children.
Those condiments look great!
We all love a barbecue and these condiments would really add some flavour
Can’t wait until we can have a bbq. For me it’s the condiments that make it!
Love a good BBQ!
