The Rubik’s Cube! I think everybody has a fond memory of them from their childhood days. If you are a bit of a master at solving the Rubik’s then you will be interested to know that The Rubik’s Speedcubing Championships are taking place at Stevenage between the 27th – 29th October.
Rubik’s Cube Bloggers
We have been going Rubik’s crazy lately being on the Rubik’s Blogger panel. John Adams stock a wide range of Rubik’s puzzles for all ages. Just recently we have been sent the 3×3 cube to try and beat. I must say my little one is much better than me! *Whispers* When I was his age I used to peel the stickers off rearrange them to beat my brothers. But no such luck with this anti-cheat one, because this bad boy has plastic coloured surfaces rather than stickers. So no cheating for this Mummy.
With a brand new mechanism giving the ability to twist and turn in an even smoother and faster motion. There are so many combinations to complete this puzzle and did you know it can be solved in under 10 seconds? I wouldn’t stand a chance, that’s for sure.
I don’t think the Rubik’s cube will ever go out of fashion. It was part of my childhood and now a part of my childrens too. Why not see how we got on with the Junior Rubik’s Range.
Available at Amazon and all good toy stores.
