AD – This is a gifted collaboration
Anything that involves PJ Masks makes my little one happy. He has been a big fan of both the series and the toys for quite some time now, as was my eldest when he was younger too. So to their delight when we were challenged to create a PJ Masks craft to use with the new Super Moon Adventure Fortress Playset plus Ghecko, Owlette & Catboy figures, they were very excited!
After giving it some thought, we decided to make a moon surface for our headquarters to sit on. We were sent some crafty bits to get started and got our craft boxes out too. Crafts combined with play is a fab way to encourage imaginative play and it lets little ones be creative and enjoy making lots of mess, which is fun!
What You Need –
A large cardboard box (unfolded)
Some extra card to make the craters
Glue gun
Paints
2 x A3 black card
Tissue paper
Mod podge
Stickers or printables to decorate
We started off by laying out the piece of card we were using for our base. next, we cut out some card rings from some more card to use for building up our craters. We stuck them together using the glue gun.

When we were happy with the height of the craters, we then used tissue paper and mod podge to cover them up, kind of like you would with paper mache.

After they were dry, we painted it all using different shades of grey.

The black card we had was used for the back of the playset. We decorated that with stars and printed some planets off to stick on. Before too long it was ready for play.

I think our space scene is a perfect spot for the Super Moon Adventure Fortress.

This playset comes with Catboy and Luna Girl so you can start your space adventure as soon as it’s taken from the box. It retails at £29.99.

The figures can be placed in the zero gravity belts and go to battle with the villains by pulling the lever.
The boys enjoyed protecting the fortress with the Moon Shooter! And capturing the baddies in the Crystal Moon Trap.

You can also get the three characters, Ghecko, Catboy and Owlette complete with their own Super Moon Space Vehicles and Super Moon themed accessory.

I can see our Super Moon Adventure Playset becoming a firm favourite for some time to come. You may also like the new PJ Masks HQ Rocket that KatyKicker reviewed.

That looks so cool. What a great activity. I know my two will play with something more if they’ve created it themselves.
