We have been busy here the past few weeks what with moving house and prepping for Christmas. We’ve also been busy making more Christmas crafts! We recently teamed up with hobbycraft and made a pretty Cloche Christmas scene and this week we have been decoupaging.
Christmas Decoupage Street Craft
What you will need –
-
- 2D Wooden Houses 3 Pack
- hobbycraft
- Mod Podge
This has to be one of the easiest Christmas crafts ever, so if you’re not really a crafter then don’t worry anyone could have a bash at this.
First I cut out three pieces of decoupage paper big enough to cover each house. I then applied a generous layer of mod podge to each building and stuck the decoupage paper on. Using a foam sponge I gently removed any air bubbles or creases.
You could rip up little pieces and build up coverage but I chose to use just one whole piece.
I left these to dry for 30 minutes and used my craft knife to tidy up any rough edges around the windows. See, I told you this was easy peasy! And I think they look fab on my son’s shelf.
Have you been making any crafts lately?

They look brilliant. Even better with the lights shining through the windows. I was in Hobbycraft yesterday, but didn’t spot the Christmas decoupage paper. May need to look again. #mmbc
These look absolutely fabulous. With tea lights behind the windows they would look really cosy 🙂

They are so pretty! I am no crafter but I think I could manage these. We’ve done no Christmas crafts yet but we are planning to over the next couple of weeks x
So very sweet and the stuff dreams are made of for the future too. #MMBC

I haven’t had the chance to make anything recently although I’d love to give this a go!
My oldest would love doing this! It looks so effective & I bet it’s very therapeutic too! #MMBC
