I just love adding magical little touches around the house at Christmas, and this Christmas scene cloche craft is one of my favourites. It’s so easy to put together, and the end result looks like something you’d find in a cosy festive shop window. The best part is you can style your DIY Christmas cloche however you like snowy trees, little houses, or even a tiny Santa scene!
Supplies You Will Need:
- Glass/Plastic Cloche
- Miniature Christmas trees/figurines to decorate
- Artificial Snow
- Mini Trees
- Mod Podge
- Hot Glue Gun

Step-by-Step Christmas Scene Cloche Tutorial
1. Prepare Your Base
Set up your base. Wood slices look lovely and rustic. Cover with Mod Podge and sprinkle a little faux snow across it.
2. Add Miniature Trees & Figures
Arrange your bottlebrush trees, houses or festive figures on the snow. Move them around until you’re happy with the layout.
3. Secure in Place (Optional)
If you want your cloche to be permanent, use a dab of hot glue to fix your decorations down.
4. Cover with the Cloche
Carefully place your glass dome or cloche over the scene. Adjust the snow around the base if needed, and you’re done!

Variations & Ideas
LED Cloche – add battery-operated fairy lights inside for a magical glow.
Snowy Village Cloche – add tiny houses, a street lamp, and people for a winter village scene.
Rustic Woodland Cloche – use reindeer, pinecones, and natural wood slices.
Santa’s Workshop Cloche – fill with elves, presents, and a sleigh.

And that’s it! A simple but stunning DIY Christmas cloche that brings a magical winter scene into your home. Once you’ve made one, you’ll want to create a whole collection with different themes.
