Trying out decoupage.
I love crafts, whether it be something to sit and get stuck into by myself or making something with the kids., but one thing I have never tried and that is decoupage.
A craft which entails cutting and sticking paper to decorate objects.
We have been trying out Docrafts Papier Patch Range. They have 3 sheets of paper per pack, RRP £2.00.
I used some little jars, an old shoe box and a plastic pencil case to decoupage.

I covered the box in my homemade adhesive (PVA & Water), then applied the deco paper. I repeated for the jars and pencil case. Here’s how they all turned out.
A new box to store my craft buttons in.
Covered with Papier Patch – Moroccan Tile

Tea-light Jars, using Papier Patch – Vintage Air Balloons & Papier Patch – Pink Rose.

And the pencil case using – Papier Patch – Typewriter Alphas
Do you do Decoupage?
Those look lovely. I haven’t tried this type of decoupage, but I have done both 3D decoupage pictures and greetings cards #Triedtested
Oh the 3D picture sounds interesting.
Thanks for popping by 🙂
Ohh! These look really pretty….I have never tried this before but I think I might have to have a go x
Thanks Kim,
It does give a nice effect, a bit fiddly at first, but you get used to it x
These all look lovely! What a great way of giving new life to things you have lying round the house, too 🙂
A great way to recycle and have ‘relaxing mummy time’ lol. lovely!
