Likes and Loves June 2025

I honestly can’t believe we’re halfway through the year already, where has the time gone?! June has been such a lovely month for us, full of sunshine (mostly!), pottering about in the garden, and making the most of the lighter evenings. As always, I’ve rounded up a few bits and bobs that have made me smile this month, from tiny wins at home to new finds I’m loving. So, pop the kettle on and have a little nosey through my Likes and Loves June!

LEGO

I never really bothered with LEGO before until my husband got me the Home Alone House, and I’ve been addicted ever since.
When I get the rare chance to have a bit of time to myself, I love sitting outside with a LEGO kit and a cuppa. It’s a nice way to chill out when things get a bit busy around here.
These *LEGO Roses were fun to build, I just need to find a vase for them now!

An Extra Screen

I have recently been trying out the Duex Max DS 14 Inch Portable Screen, and it’s a brilliant addition to my MacBook. The extra screen has made multitasking so much smoother, whether I’m working on documents, editing photos, or researching. It’s lightweight, easy to attach, and the plug-and-play setup means I can take my dual-screen workspace anywhere. Total game changer! Crochet Wreath

I’ve finally gotten around to adding a few more flowers to my crochet summer wreath. It’s one of those little projects that’s been sitting half-finished for ages, so I’m glad that I’ve picked it up again! I love how cheerful and colourful it’s looking now. Just a few more bits to add to it and that will do for me.
Then up next is autumnal decor!

Fresh Florals With Linda Barker’s -The Floral Garden

As we’re settling into our new house, I’ve been on the lookout for some pretty furnishings, and I couldn’t resist adding The Floral Garden range by Linda Barker to my list! Rosa Fiore is a blend of botanical charm and Eastern-inspired elegance, featuring painterly birds, trailing leaves and delicate blooms.

It’s been so nice picking out special pieces for our new space, and these floral fabrics feel like the perfect way to bring a bit of the outdoors inside.

Palmers

I’ve been a loyal fan of Palmer’s for as long as I can remember. It’s one of those brands that I always come back to. Their iconic Cocoa Butter Formula is an absolute staple in my routine. There’s just something so comforting about that rich, chocolatey scent!

At the moment, with this mini heatwave here in the UK, my skin has been feeling extra parched, and Palmer’s is honestly my go-to remedy. Out and About

Having sat at a desk chipping away at my workload and homeschooling the boys, I am always at my happiest when we are outside. We’ve had some lovely days out using our National Trust, which I will hopefully get around to sharing soon!
And this little beauty of mine loves sitting at the pond and watching the wildlife. We are so lucky to have this right by our house.
Such a difference from the loud canal lock at our other house!

I never thought I’d be interested in this, but now I’m completely hooked with only a couple of episodes left. Just imagine being a contestant in some of those games! I’m not going to spoil it for those who haven’t watched it yet, but I’d be a nervous wreck.
