My eldest loves baking with me, so what better opportunity to try out our new Kenwood FP580 Food Processor, other than baking some apple crumble cookies.
Kenwood FP580 Food Processor With 11 Accessories
I was quite surprised just how many functions this processor had. You have the whisk, 3 high stainless steel blades ideal for slicing, shredding and chopping. It has a multi-mill for chopping up all of your herbs and a dough tool.
It has a really easy control panel as you can see. There are two speeds plus a pulse button.
Simply choose which tool you require for the job and off you go. It made light work of chopping up our dried apple slices. This was just after roughly 30 seconds.
As we went on to add the rest of the ingredients it turned our mixture into the crumb consistency that we needed for our cookies. It saves a whole lot of time when you are prepping the ingredients, I really am impressed.
It comes along with the liquidiser too, which I will be using regularly to make us all smoothies.
I especially like the safety feature, whereas, if the parts are not placed correctly or the lid isn’t secured correctly, the processor will not turn on. Saves getting half your mixture across the kitchen walls, doesn’t it?!
This is a nifty bit of kit and if like us you love cooking up a storm in the kitchen, then this is definitely worth investing in.

This looks really good! I don’t actually have a food processor at the moment and probably should get one. My kitchen is tiny but we’re moving in the New Year and I’ll have a lot more space so can get some new appliances. #MMBC
