Fridgemaster MC5526470/30 Fridge Freezer Review

We are back with another fabulous kitchen appliance from the lovely people at We have recently moved house and received a bundle of white appliances to put to the test. If you missed our previous reviews you can catch up here for the Beko DTGC8011W Condenser Tumble Dryer and the Beko WTG1041B2W 1oKG Washing machine.

Today we have the…..

As you can see by the pic, our fridge stands nicely next to our stove. There are units running around the other side of the kitchen, so this was the best place to home it.

OK, let’s start with space. If you are needing some extra room for your shopping then this would be ideal for you. It has 264 litres of space inside which holds 14 bags of food shopping. There are 4 shelves and a crisper drawer to keep all of your fruit and veg fresh.

The three freezer drawers are a generous size. Having two little ones we have a lot of the family sized bags of chicken dippers and chips etc, and they all fit in easily with space left over.

The interior light is fab for being able to find my Smirnoff bottles seeing clearly what is inside and put your hands straight on to what you need.

The Fridgemaster MC5526470/30 has an estimated running cost of £38.19 per year. I personally think that is very economical. I will also be giving it a defrost here and there to keep it running efficiently. It is super quiet too, which is quite refreshing compared to our previous fridge which you could hear the motor running.

Left Or Right?

Position the door easily for a left-hand opening or right-hand opening. The left-hand opening worked best for us.

I think this is a super fridge freezer and perfect for larger families. It is absolutely fab value too for just £249.00. Well worth every penny.

Are you planning on buying a new appliance?

fab! good to have a bigger top compartment, I miss the huge larder fridge that we had, it was like a tardis everything went in it, but then we went for a fridge freezer, the fridge part is very small

I like the pot belly stove inside the fireplace. Your home is older and so quaint! Very nice Jayne
