I have never looked back since having a dishwasher. Being a family of four, it seems it’s always mealtime in our house and along with that comes washing up! If you are a regular visitor to my blog then you will know we have recently received a white goods bundle to put to the test from the lovely people at AO.com. It has come in so handy as we have just moved to our new home and some of our old appliances had given up the ghost.

Candy CDP1LS67W Standard Dishwasher
Do you have a large family? Then this is going to cater for all of that washing up after each mealtime. The Candy CDP1LS67W Dishwasher has loads of space inside. It can clean 16 place settings at once, so perfect if you have friends round or family gatherings regularly.
It has two cutlery trays to organise all of your knives, forks and spoons. You can also adjust the top basket to what height you require. Very handy for larger pans.

Audible programme ending alert
As soon as your load comes to the end of its cycle the dishwasher will sound off an alarm, so you can get on with other jobs until it lets you know it’s ready.
Smart Touch
There is an app to download – Candy Simply-Fi which is compatible with this machine. I can’t really comment on this at the moment as I haven’t had the time to test it out. Apparently, you can control when your dishwasher starts your load, have it choose the best programme to suit your lifestyle and carry out health checks on your machine. I am really looking forward to giving this a try and will give an update as soon as I do!
Programmes
Intensive cycle – For all heavily soiled plates, pots and pans.
Economy wash – An energy efficient cycle that is environmentally friendly.
Delicates – Perfect for glasses.
Pre Rinse – Loosens dirt and grime prior to the main wash cycle.
Quick wash – I really like the fast wash function as it’s great when popping in a small load that isn’t overly dirty, such as cereal bowls, tea cups and so on. It completes a cycle in only 29 minutes on this mode.
I love my new dishwasher and can see it standing the test of time for years to come. And of course, it’s saving me the mundane job of washing piles of dirty crockery! What’s not to love?
