I love receiving cards. The fact that someone has put some thought into picking a special card out and taking time to choose one with a nice verse, makes it all the more special. It could be a birthday card in the post, a get well card if you’ve been feeling under the weather or a simple hello card from a friend who you don’t see all that often. All can really brighten up the day, especially in times like these.
My eldest turned 10 on Wednesday and although he didn’t have friends and family around in person, we tried our best to make it the best birthday we could. We had loads of decorations (some handmade), two birthday cakes, a teatime party with lots of snacks and video calls with our nearest and dearest!
We recently visited Orchard Toy’s online card maker where Joben even made his own special card for his big brother.
Living in the current circumstances is hard for children, so I think little gestures like these can put a big smile on someone’s face.
Free Superhero Printable Birthday Card Craft
Whilst browsing on Orchard Toy’s website and trying his hardest not to get sidetracked by the wonderful games, Joben chose the Superhero printable birthday card craft to print off.
You don’t even have to have a printer, you could download one of the many designs and then colour it in on Pic Monkey or your prefered choice of editing software. A digital card sent by email is still as effective as a handmade one. A card says it all! No matter how it’s presented.
I think my little man did a great job! Perhaps this can go in Jayden’s memory box.
Jayden had a wonderful day even though we are on lockdown. Thanks to internet shopping I managed to get everything I needed online.
