Recently we very happy to of been asked by the lovely people at Baker Days to test out a yummy letterbox cake. How could we turn that down?
My hubby’s birthday was coming up so this would make an ideal novelty gift from the boys.
Baker Days create and deliver celebration cakes straight to your door.
It took me ages to pick one as there were so many fab choices of cake.
The beauty with this 5 Inch cake is that it fits through your letterbox.
I loved the little metal tin, not only does it just add that special touch but also keeps the cake airtight and secure in transit.
We also got a little card and a pack of love hearts.
I was very pleased with the overall design, however, the image slightly blurred but not enough to make an issue of it.
You can personalise the cakes with your own images too.
You can have a variety of sponges, the vanilla sponge is a free choice but the others have a small additional charge.
- Vanilla sponge (which we had)
- Belgian chocolate chip
- Fruit cake
- Gluten wheat free
- Dairy free
You can also buy larger size cakes and cupcakes too.
Our cake tasted delicious. The sponge was light and fluffy and the fondant was just the right thickness without becoming sickly.
It didn’t last long put it that way!
I will definitely be using Baker Days again.
