As you can probably tell by just how many posts we have published, my boys are BIG fans of Thomas The Tank. Jayden may have outgrown it a little now, but he was just as obsessed with Thomas as his little brother is now. So you can imagine the excitement on Joben’s face when we were recently invited to try out a new playset.
My First Thomas & Friends™ Railway Pals™ Playset 12mths+

The kit has over 40 track pieces which are individually coded for an easy assembly. You get Percy included with the set too.

It was super quick to set up. It only took around 10 minutes. Good job though as we had a super excited little man waiting to get stuck in with his new track!

The thing we love the most about the Railway Pals set is the clever activation points that are spread out across the tracks. As you can see below, Percy has little sensors on his undercarriage. When he rides over one of the nine activation points you will hear him sing songs and say phrases. They all help with letters, numbers and colour recognition.

Joben likes pressing his bumper which lights up and makes sounds. There’s quite a good variety of sounds too. I think there are around 50 different ones.

He also loves loading the coal into Percy’s wagon.

I love how interactive this track is. There are plenty of activities to keep little ones engaged and it is awesome for stimulating the imagination.

Even Tidmouth sheds lights up when the drum is rolled beneath.

This Thomas & Friends Playset is colourful, fun and educational. I know this will bring many hours of fun for Joben for some time to come. If you have a little Thomas fan then I would certainly recommend this set. It is fab value at just £49.99. Available at all good toy stores.

I’ll definitely be telling my friend about this as her little boy is Thomas mad too!!!
Oh my goodness, I don’t even remember the last time we bought any Fisher price toys for T or for any of her friends. But they certainly make such fun and durable toys 🙂
Wonderful. The enduring appeal of Thomas and the Reverend W Audrey. Peep peep!
Aww this looks so good! My daughter would love it, as she struggles to push the train around our wooden track 🙂
