Roleplay toys are a big thing in our house at the moment. My youngest loves playing shops, restaurants and the sort of games he can serve you something tasty! That’s why he was super excited when we were kindly sent this fun Toy Ice Cream set from Dantoy.

A little bit about Dantoy and their ethos
Dantoy are a very eco-friendly brand and pride themselves in being green when it comes to their products. Their bioplastic toys are made from at least 90% sugarcane and are 100% recyclable.
The majority of plastics out there today are made from crude oil. Dantoy’s products are made from ethanol (sugarcane).
New sugarcane plants are planted every five to seven years and are harvested every six to twelve months, making them a sustainable raw material.
Ethanol is extracted from the sugarcane which is then used to make bioplastic. The manufacture of bioplastics lowers carbon emissions which is more friendly to our planet.
The Ice cream playset is so lovely. You can swap the different toppings around to create new ice-creams whilst the handy stand supports and displays them all. There is also a little scoop for realistic play and you can make different cupcakes with interchangeable toppings. They even come in cute little cupcake cases.
My youngest is autistic and roleplay toys have really helped him come on in terms of speech and communication. There are so many other reasons why we love roleplay toys too –

This set is so adorable! My sister in-law doesn’t like her children having plastic food sets, so she’d probably love the fact these aren’t the usual plastic. If the boys don’t want them, my sister’s little one would though. Lots of little ones to share them around with.
