Recently we were invited to try out some of the Astonish cleaning range.
Astonish is a family owned business of 40 years from West Yorkshire. All of their cleaning products are animal friendly and have not been tested on animals nor do they contain any ingredients derived from animals.
They have loads of fab products in their range and here is what we have been testing out.
First up is………
Window and glass cleaner
With just a little squirt needed this really brought the windows up. It cut through sticky finger prints (the joys of having little monsters) and left no traces of smears on the panes. It also did a fab job on the mirrors around the home too.
Antibacterial Cleaner
Overall really impressed with this. Perfect for cleaning the kitchen sides, cupboard doors and wiping toddlers trays etc. I like the fact that the scent isn’t over powering as some cleaners can be and it does as stated, cleans and protects.
Grout and Tile Restorer
I have always used bleach on an old toothbrush for this job, so was quite curious if this would give the same results. However on first use, I noticed the familiar smell of bleach, checked the ingredients and it does in fact contain bleach. Best to pop some gloves on when using this. It has a foaming trigger so ideal for preventing the cleaner running off down the walls when cleaning vertical surfaces. It cleans off your general soap scum and brings a nice shine up on the tiles. They say to use regularly to prevent the need for re- grouting.

Hi Jayne, our grouting is terrible and no matter how much bleach and elbow grease I use it never looks white. I would certainly try the grout and tile restorer if I cold get it over here.
It’s a shame I can’t enter the raffle as ‘m always on the lookout for good cleaning products (anything to minimize time spent actually cleaning!).
