It’s that time again where we share our Likes and Loves for the previous month. What with these crazy times that we are living in, it’s nice to appreciate the little things in life. Whether that be a yummy treat we have tried or a great book to read. Here is what we liked and loved in February.
*Fearne And Rosie Jams
Fearne and Rosie are a lovely children’s food brand that offer jams, spreads and sauces. All of which contain less sugar than traditional toppers and all handmade in the UK.
We have been trying out the Strawberry Jam, chocolate and honey spread and Raspberry jam. All are lovely and a massive hit with all of us.
Another fabulous place to find delicious dessert sauces is Dessert Parlour. From classic salted caramel to pistachio, they are the perfect accompaniment to any dessert.
*Gaming Fun
I don’t think there is a month that goes by that we haven’t played on the switch or the PS4. We are all gamers in our house, even the youngest loves to play train sim and Paw Patrol.
My eldest on the other hand has been loving Eldrador Creatures.
Eldrador Creatures by Merge Games is a strategy combat game that is recommended for 7-12-year-olds. It is great fun and really engages your brain. You move through the worlds beating opponents along the way, each battle win rewards you with mini creatures that you can use strategically to help you win the next battle. *Epic Escapes
Escape rooms at home are our new fun pastime. The Epic Escapes 3 in 1 has three awesome escape room scenarios to set up in the comfort of your own home.
The three plots to try and crack are –
- Hijack – Try and work out the hijackers plan to save the plane, crew and 170 passengers.
- Piracy – Escape the ship as quickly as you can! The captain is not who you think, he is a traitor and about to divert the ship to a warlord and deliver dangerous cargo into dodgy hands.
- Crime – When you discover that you aren’t simply house sitting, you are in fact in the house of a mafia boss and locked in his panic room. Escape before the oxygen runs out!

I love a new book but even more so when it’s an educational one. The World Explained in 264 Infographics published by Prestel Publishing Random House is a fantastic book where you can delve deep into history, art, culture and economics. Instead of the traditional facts and figures, this beautifully presented book uses infographics to convey information.
It is such a wonderful premium book that you can learn so much from. I think it would make a lovely gift too, especially for occasions such as Father’s Day.
Spring Walks
There are lots of rambunctious little lambs running around the fields that surround us. It’s lovely to see when we are out on our walk. Spring is in the air and that makes me happy. We will be getting ready for Easter before we know it!

Since I started meal planning I feel much more organised when it comes to dinner time. We’ve also cut down on so much waste too. We recently tried out HelloFresh to add a little variety to our plan and we are really enjoying the meals so far!

Did you catch up with our Likes and Loves January 2021?
We are hoping to get out for some spring walks this week as our temperatures should warm up for at least a few days towards the end of the week. That escape room sounds like so much fun. We have been to one escape room but I like the idea of being able to do it from the comfort of your own home.
I would love to live close to fields of sheep and see the lambs. #MMBC

You have lambs. I’ve not seen one this year, yet. Hoping we’ll see them when they are rotated back to the fields near us. I love the look of the World explained book. Sort of book I would spend ages looking at. I wonder which member of the family I can buy it for, so I can read it! #mmbc

Love going out for spring walks and seeing the daffodils growing. My kids spread jam like there is no tomorrow, things like spreading jam on their toast is a first step to making their own food. So these spreads sound great. I even want to try the honey and chocolate one!
