Both of our boys are dinosaur mad! We have dinosaur books, toys and games everywhere and there are not many days that they do not make an appearance in some form or another. Our eldest is a font of knowledge on dinosaurs, I can’t even pronounce half of the names he knows! You can imagine how excited my boys were when we recently received The Ultimate Dinosaur Encyclopedia to check out!

This lovely hardback book is not just for budding palaeontologists though, it is a great learning resource for everyone. There are 160 beautifully illustrated pages with a host of dinosaur species that have never appeared in print before. The book has obviously been extremely well researched and the writing is not only overflowing with information, but it is also fun to read.
The Ultimate Dinosaur Encyclopedia comes with a free companion app that will be available for tablets and phones using iOs 11.3 iPhone SE and above or Android 7.0 supporting the app ‘Google play services for VR’ version 1.3 and above.
Many pages have a ‘Scan This Page’ symbol on them which, with the app, brings the page to life using Augmented Reality. Dynamic videos and interactive notes appear on your screen which really immerses you in the book. You can even adjust the scale to see some of the dinosaurs as life-size models!

Love this book, and I know my Grandson would adore it, he loves dinosaurs, and finding out about them. The book looks so engaging and fun, which is so important for children to maintain their interest, and make fact learning fun and captivating. I think I would find it hard to put it down myself!
