Summer is out and the nights are already starting to draw in. I do love autumn as it’s the season to spend cosy nights indoors with some good TV to watch and games to play. We love family games here and we have recently discovered This Side Up from IDEAL and it is such a fun reaction game!
The Fast-Paced Parcel Flipping Action Game Age 8+
It has to be said, we are a bit of a competitive bunch in our house. If there is a game that involves a high score, you can guarantee one of us is playing away to beat whoever is currently leading!
This Side Up is so much fun and one of those games where you can’t put it down (literally).
There are 4 games to choose from and the rules are nice and easy to follow.
How To Play
- Press the start button twice.
- Hold the box and listen for the command.
- Throw the box up in the air.
- Catch the box with your palms flat against the sides of the box with the requested colour facing up.
- Listen for the next colour command and repeat.
This Side-Up can be played with family and friends to compete for a high score or you can have fun playing solo.
We will be taking this with us on our next holiday as I think it is great for the whole family to get involved with. It would also make a fab Christmas gift if you are all organised and have made a start on the Christmas shopping like me!
Available on Amazon.
Are you competitive when it comes to playing games or do you know someone who is?
This game sounds like so much fun!! I could imagine my family getting so competitive playing it. x
Sounds fun – sure will be a hit here
What a fantastic idea for a game! I don’t think I would be very good at it though as I am not the best at catching !
This looks like a fun Christmas game we can all play as a family. My kids would love this.
This sound like great fun!
