I think when it comes to choosing a gift for someone, personalised gifts are just the thing. There is just something a little more special about personalised gifts. They show that a lot of thought has gone it to planning them and they are of course, unique. So if you are struggling what to buy someone for their birthday, then I hope the following inspires you!

A Special Song Track

Do you know the recipients favourite song of all time? If so you could get it on LP or CD and mount it in a nice frame. Finish off with a personalised message and you have a really special gift that they will cherish for a lifetime. Another option would be to use something like PicMonkey to create a poster. Choose a nice background, type out the lyrics to the song, print it off and frame it.

Personalized Pen

A personalized pen can be a perfect solution for the person who has everything. This elegant and functional gift can be engraved with their name, initials, or a meaningful date, turning it into a keepsake they’ll treasure. Whether they use it for writing heartfelt notes, journaling, or signing documents, a personalized pen adds a touch of sophistication and thoughtfulness to their everyday activities. It’s a simple yet impactful way to show how much you care, blending practicality with a personal touch.

Celebratory Newspaper

These are a fun gift for birthdays. You can get a copy of a newspaper that was published on a specific birth date. They show what trends were in on that date, what made the headlines and so on. The majority of personalised gift stores have these on their websites.

Reg Plate

If you know somebody that drives then this will make an extra special gift for them to open. Driving around with their own personalised reg plate is sure to make them smile. This is the one gift I am hoping for this year! (Fingers crossed).

Jewellery

You can’t go wrong with a gorgeous piece of jewellery. If the recipient has children then you could have something personalised, perhaps a watch, with a little message from them or even their dates of births scribed on the back. Lockets, bangles and cufflinks all make lovely personalised gifts for someone special.

Do you have any ideas that would make lovely personalised gifts?

  1. Those are really interesting ideas! I have done the CD one. I used to make mix tapes and CD’s for my friends all the time when I was young. #MMBC (So sorry I am late responding to your linky)
