*Disclosure – We received these products for the purpose of this post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Spring is just around the corner and it’s almost that time of year where we think of our mums on Mother’s Day. Before I do get on with sharing our Mother’s Day gift ideas, I just wanted to spare a few minutes to think of those who no longer have their mums. This time of year must really hit some folk hard. While others around them celebrate Mother’s Day and gift guides circle the internet, someone somewhere is missing their mum. Keeping all of you in my thoughts this Mother’s Day and I hope the day is as gentle as it can be.
I hope our gift guide is inspirational for those who are searching for Mother’s Day gifts this year!
Host A Garden Party
The greatest gift any mother could ask for is time with her family. While you should still buy a token present for her to open, organising a family gathering is the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day. This is especially true if you can get older children who have flown the nest to return for the day.
She will certainly enjoy a day off from organising everything. A few nibbles and a playlist of her favourite music should do the trick. Meanwhile, confetti cannons will make the celebration stand out as more than just a family day in the garden. Set them off as a surprise to show mum how much she is appreciated. And be sure to have your camera ready to capture the magic.
Bottle Of Plonk
We mums look forward to nothing more than a tipple of something nice after a busy day! (Or is that just me?)
Barefoot have a whole range of delicious wines to suit everyone’s palette. From red, white or a sweet Moscato, they have a little something for everyone. They even have wine in cans too!

Cup Of Tea?
Being the tea belly that I am, I drink a lot of tea! And I love nothing more than to love to drink from a pretty cup. Portmeirion is definitely my go-to brand for high-quality tableware. They have so many beautiful ranges I find it hard to choose a favourite.
These gorgeous Sophie Conran honey pot sunshine mugs are the perfect size for a cup of tea. The honey pot shape is just right to grip in your hands. I also love the vibrant colour inside! You can also get them in Pink, Mulberry and Celadon.
If coffee is more your thing there are some fabulous companies out there that offer coffee at wholesale prices. Ideal for pairing up with these cups to make a beautiful coffee gift set.

Edible Tea!
Another fab gift for tea lovers! I love my tea, but I must admit I had never heard of an edible tea until I was approached by the lovely folk at Nim’s!
Nim’s teas are made up of dried fruit and veg that has been air-dried. Once you have drunk the tea you can then eat rehydrated fruit and veg! So you can enjoy a nice cuppa and get 1 of your 5 a day whilst you’re at it.

Pretty Summer Footwear
I love Havaianas! Theses Brazillian flip-flops are definitely my favourite brand. I have had quite a few pairs over the years and I’ve always had lots of wear out of them.
There are so many fun designs and vibrant colours to choose from.
Features –
- Rubber sole
- Durable
- Lightweight
- Heat-resistant
- Super comfortable
- Non-slip
The styles vary from flip-flops like these beautiful Havaianas You Metallic, sandals and pretty slips on’s like the purple Havaianas You Saint.

For The Gardener
I must admit, out of all the gifts I could choose from, I would most probably go for something that I can use in the garden. I love gardening. It’s something I can do whilst having a little quiet time to myself and helps me to unwind. I’m a big believer that you don’t have to be Monty Don level to enjoy the garden. It’s about getting out there and having a go. Gardening is so good for you. Not only does it help keep you fit but it’s good for mental health.
I am no stranger to the brand STIHL and already have a few of their tools.
This HSA 45 Hedge trimmer is going to come in so handy as we live on a canal path, so cables and cord would be a nightmare when maintaining the hedges!
I will have a review coming up shortly for this amazingly awesome gardening tool!

For The Tech-Savvy Mums
I recently discovered Popsockets. How did I not know about this before? I use my phone quite a lot for work and to keep in touch with friends and family. I do love a pretty case and Popsocket have loads to choose from! It doesn’t stop at cases though, they do PopGrips and wallets too. With so many funky designs to choose from, you will be like a child in a sweet shop! (Well I was). Hehe.
The set featured is the gorgeous Richmond & Finch Case and PopGrip in White Marble Tropics.

Special Selection Boxes
Cadbury Gifts Direct have a huge selection of gift ideas for everyone. This lovely Double Deck selection box is packed full of Cadbury favourites. Inside you get two layers! The top layer has lots of yummy Cadbury bars to enjoy and underneath there are three more chocolate bars and a mini Milk Tray selection box. For just £15, I think this is superb value for money!
I have bought quite a few items from here for gifting, not always for a specific occasion, but maybe just to cheer a friend up after a tough week. I love Cadbury!

More Chocolate Treats
Probably the best comfort food ever! I do love a chocolatey treat and Guylian Belgian chocolates are so moreish I just don’t want to share. They have some wonderful gift ideas on their website and not just their infamous sea shells but chocolate bars and sweet temptations too.

For The Candle Lover
These set of three tealights from Mia Rose comes presented in a ‘mum’ gift box. Scents of geranium, sweet orange, lavender and ylang ylang will fill the house with amazing aromas for up to 8 hours. Made in Britain from ethically sourced plant-based wax encased in recycled glass.

I hope this guide has given you lots of ideas. What would you like the most from this list?
How kind of you to think of those who’s mother’s are no longer here.

Those mugs are so pretty and the edible tea sounds interesting.
What a fantastic gift for a gardener. I know my dad’s partner would love a hedge trimmer to sort her garden out.

Lots of fab ideas there. Thankyou!! Edible tea! Who knew, it certainly sounds interesting. My mum loves a bottle of wine anytime of the year lol. Not really a chocolate lover but she loves scented candles. X
