It’s time for another meal plan and the first of September! How did we get here already? It’s all good though because we get to prepare all of those winter warming dinners soon!
Last week’s plan went down OK. The only meal we weren’t impressed with was the Greek cheese and pomegranate-loaded sweet potato. There was just too many flavours going on and they seemed to really clash with each other. If I’m honest, it was pretty awful.
With that said, we have some pretty yummy meal plan ideas lined up for this week!

Monday
Slow cooker tikka curry served with mini cheesy naan breads and basmati rice.
Tuesday
Macaroni cheese bake with peas, sweetcorn and broccoli. A simple but yummy dish for Tuesday.
Wednesday
Spinach & Feta Tart With Crispy Potatoes And Rocket Salad. (Gousto box recipe). Our meat-free dinner for the week.

Thursday
Swedish-Style Meatballs With Mash And Peas. (Gousto recipe box).
Friday
Oven-Baked Normandy Chicken & Apple Casserole. (Gousto box recipe). I’m really looking forward to this one.
Saturday
Air fryer chicken. This is the BEST KFC fakeaway ever! It is soooooo good.
Sunday
Easy Chicken And Mushroom Pie With Puff Pastry. A bit of comfort food is needed for the weekend!
What have you got planned for this week?

The Swedish meat balls sounds like a great idea. Haven’t made meatballs in a long time!
That’s a shame about the disappointing meal from last week, it did sound so interesting.
Great meal plan. I love the sound of the cheesy naan breads and the macaroni cheese bake. My girls would love that.
I saw that chicken & apple casserole on Gousto and was tempted to get the box because of it but didn’t fancy any of the other meals. I’ve since found the recipe so will be trying it soon. x
Oh I love winter dishes! They’re so wholesome and comforting. I actually miss those dishes a lot during the summer months. I see you’ve introduced those curries and casseroles back. Yum
Spinach & Feta Tart sounds fab!
I like the sound of the Air fryer chicken! I do not have an air fryer yet, but will hopefully have one soon!
The Macaroni cheese bake with peas, sweetcorn and broccoli is so lovely and perfect for the family, thank you for the idea.
Ooh these recipes look really yummy. Will definitely be looking up the slow cooker tikka as been looking for a good slow cooker curry recipe
We love Swedish style meatballs – normally have with couscous
