I love how little ones are constantly learning something new. My youngest, at two years, is learning all about colours, shapes and numbers. He loves to count, so having the Leapfrog Number Loving Oven has made learning so much fun!
Number Loving Oven RRP £19.99 Age 2-5 Years

As soon as Joben spotted the chefs hat button he just had to press it. The oven plays over 30 different songs and phrases whilst you get your bake on. Little ones can move the slider along and learn all about times and temperatures. They can pop their food into the oven, turn the timer dial and the light flashes when the food is cooked. Opening and closing the oven door also activates fun phrases.
What you get

The play set comes with 2 cupcakes, a pizza that can be split up into 4 slices, which is fab for building math skills. A loaf of bread which can be separated into 3 pieces, a fried egg, frying pan, 2 plates, spatula and shelf.
There are all kinds of yummy ingredients to spark off imaginative play, including frying an egg. The left hob on the top of the oven has realistic frying sounds when the frying pan is placed on top.

We enjoyed cooking up a storm.

Pizza anyone?

Joben enjoyed counting the slices of bread.

and the sprinkles on top of the cupcakes.

Once finished with, you can put all of the accessories away tidily inside. All ready for the next bake off!
The little number loving oven has loads of fun activities and creates hours of fun. I think it gets a big thumbs up from Joben. Available at all good toy stores.

Hi Jayne, very clever. Start him young and hopefully it won’t be long before he’s cooking you Sunday lunch. The oven does sound like fun to play with and I can see how it would encourage children to show more interest in helping in the kitchen. And those cupcakes do look nice.
xx
