Green bean bag in conservatory 4

Life’s always full-on in our house, so finding little pockets of comfort is a must and our new bean bag from GreatBeanBags has been an absolute hit.
Whether it’s lounging in the conservatory or catching some sun in the garden, this indoor/outdoor beauty has quickly become everyone’s favourite spot, (even the dogs try to claim it).

Delivery

Delivery was super quick! When the bean bag arrived, it came in two separate boxes, one containing the bean bag cover and some stockinette bags full of polystyrene beans. The other box contained the rest of the filling bags. This saves having one really heavy parcel and a huge box!

Bean bag filling

Filling the bean bag.

As the photo shows, the filling comes in large prefilled stockinette-type bags, so there are no messy beans to chase around the house. The bean bag cover has a double zipper on the bottom, and all you have to do is pop the filling bags into the cover. I found it was useful to make sure that the bags of beans were fully into the corners of the cover, shaking the bean bag after each bag of filling to try and level it out a bit.

Hand made in England

Based in Nottingham, GreatBeanBags™ have been making high-quality bean bags since 1992! With superb craftsmanship and the best quality materials, it is no wonder they are constantly receiving great reviews. I can vouch that the quality of the beanbag is exceptional. I know this will last for some time to come, unlike other brands we have purchased before.

More than just a bean bag

When I think of bean bags, I imagine just that, a bag partially stuffed with beans that you cannot sit on, or if you do, you can’t get back up from without rolling around on the floor for 5 minutes first! GreatBeanBags™ do so much more than just bean bags, though. We chose an armchair style to pop in our conservatory and it really is like a comfy chair. It’s so supportive but comfortable at the same time.

Huge choice of fabrics and colours

The choice of materials is pretty amazing. Once you have chosen the style of your beanbag, there are a dozen different base colours to complement the decor of your room. There are also additional colours in other fabrics, so you can choose from patterns through to faux furs! We went with lime green because we wanted something a little more fun for the summer.

Indoor Or Outdoor

We had the jumbo indoor/outdoor chair so there is plenty of space to get comfortable in. From reading a book to catching up over a coffee, the chair has become quite literally just part of the furniture.

Chilling in the Garden

The indoor/outdoor range is made from a durable, showerproof, woven, UV-resistant material, which makes it perfect to use as additional outdoor seating.

We love using ours in the garden for a bit of gaming, or just chilling! I love how the bean bag chair is heavy enough to shape itself around you while giving just the right amount of support, all while being light enough to move around the garden to keep you in or out of the sun.

Chilling on the bean bag outside

Our GreatBeanBags™ chair has been a great hit with the entire family, and I think that with bean bags starting from £59, they are the perfect alternative to traditional outdoor furniture. We will certainly be adding to our collection as we love this one so much!

    1. This looks so comfy! Love that it holds its shape and doesn’t flatten like others tend to. The colour you chose is great too, adds such a nice pop to the room. I love that it can be used in the garden too.
