Hoover cordless anti twist 2

Over the years I’ve gone through some vacuum cleaners, but for quite some time now I’ve leaned towards Hoover.
I use my Hoover Upright 300 for the main part of the house. It tackles the pet hair with ease which is good news for us, as myself and my eldest have allergies.
I also like to have a cordless vacuum that can be used as and when we need it. With that said Hoover has kindly sent us the Hoover Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with ANTI-TWIST to try out and so far, I’m really impressed.

When was Hoover Founded?

I know that Hoover has been around for years but I was interested in the history of the brand so I had a little browse.
I discovered that Hoover was founded in Ohio in 1908. Hoover Limited became registered here in the UK in 1919.
With the first factory opening in 1932, the brand has since gone from strength to strength and is now a leading floor-cleaning brand that we all know and love.

What is in the box?

  • Hoover Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with ANTI-TWIST™ (Single Battery), HF4
  • Removable Battery Pack
  • UK Charging Plug
  • 2-in-1 Dusting/Upholstery Tool
  • Crevice Tool
  • Cleaning Tool
  • Wall Mount
  • User Manual

I use our Hoover cordless vacuum cleaner mainly for upstairs, to save having to keep lifting the upright up and down stairs.
It makes light work of cleaning the stairs as it only weighs 3kg. It’s also perfect for sprucing up the bedroom carpets.

The controls are really easy to use. The is a power button on the back. Press and the Hoover quietly comes to life. There is a built-in battery display that has four green bars when fully charged changing to orange and red as the bars deplete. There is also a turbo button, one press and the motor spins with more power. With turbo mode activated the Hoover feels just as powerful as my upright Hoover, however, the Hoover is more than powerful enough in standard mode.

The extension pole and the crevice tool make easy work of the ceilings and anywhere those pesky spiders decide to hang out!

The Hoover disassembles simply to make cleaning the filters a breeze. The dust container has a button to release the bottom of the dust container, allowing for quick and easy emptying into your bin.

The brush bar features Hoovers Anti-Twist technology which makes such a difference. From a full charge, the Hoover works with the motorised brush bar for 30 minutes. This gives me more than enough time to do the upstairs of our home and still have plenty of charge left. Being handheld, it is amazing for cleaning under the beds because it is so compact.

If you are looking for something to use alongside your main vacuum then I highly recommend this. However, if you have a small living space this packs enough punch to get the job done solo.

  1. I have a cordless vacuum, that I use for everything! Because they’re so light and easy to use I don’t have another one and I probably vacuum more than I would with a heavy upright vacuum cleaner :o)

  2. I love the sound of this, my Hoover is far too bulky now but this would be a dream to own. The turbo button sounds wonderful too.
