Christmas gifts for foodies

With Christmas just around the corner I am busy preparing to make this Christmas the best one yet. I think we all need something to look forward to after the year we have had! And one thing I love about Christmas is all of the delicious festive food, so I have put together this guide that will hopefully give you some inspiration if you are looking for Christmas gifts for foodies.

Pickled onions with your turkey sandwich? Or maybe some pickled walnuts in your beef and ale pie. Whatever your favourite winter dish,  Opies have it covered. Producing super-tasty, indulgent yet affordable festive treats since 1980. I love baking over the Christmas period and Opies have a huge selection of ingredients that I can use. They have recently added three new luxury fruits to their range – Red Berries steeped in syrup infused with Pink Gin, Figs steeped in syrup infused with Luxardo® Dark Rum and Apricots steeped in syrup infused with The Famous Grouse® Blended Scotch Whisky.  So whether you are planning on making a boozy trifle or a rich pudding, these new additions will go down a treat!

You can find Opies in the majority of good food stores including Tesco, Waitrose and Asda.

I love how they have kept children’s safety paramount whilst designing these utensils. The ring for the index finger makes holding the knife and peeler safe for little hands and the finger protector gives extra protection while chopping.
