Gardening accessories and colourful wellies.

If you pop by here regularly then you will know that I am a keen gardener. I love nothing more than spending a good few hours outside in the garden just plodding on with little jobs while listening to birds happily chirping away to one another.
I do have a lot of readers though who would love a nice garden but feel they are not green fingered enough to have a go or just simply hate the thought of gardening. Well, if that sounds like you then you can still have a nice garden with minimal effort from you!

Call In The Experts

This might seem the most obvious solution, but searching the internet for gardening services is a good place to start. For whatever reason that you fee you can’t maintain your garden, perhaps you have a disability or have no knowledge of gardening and don’t know where to start!

Take Your Time

Don’t go for the first person who claims they can do it all! Ring around first and get a few garden quotes. You will be surprised by the difference in price between each company. By just sitting back and not making any rash decisions you could potentially save yourself a small fortune.
Make sure they can do what you require. Don’t be afraid to ask for references, after all, you are paying for a service and should expect to get exactly what you pay for.

Low Maintenance

If hiring a gardener is not something you are not really interested in then perhaps make your garden low maintenance by keeping a small portion of lawn and perhaps slabbing or block paving the rest of the space. You could also do away with borders and just have container plants.

You don’t need to know your daffodils from your antirrhinums to have a nice outdoor space. If you don’t have a love of gardening like me then call in some backup and sit back with a nice cup of tea while they do the hard work for you!

Do you have any garden plans this year?
