Pen Heaven Journal and parker pen

I can’t believe how fast these months are going by! It only seems like five minutes since the previous Likes and Loves round-up.
So it’s time to share another month full of little moments, new finds and things I’ve been loving lately. Here’s my Likes and Loves for July.

Meet the cutest mini speaker! The Kreafunk aGO Mini from Pen Heaven is so convenient, and it’s been tagging along with me pretty much everywhere lately.

Don’t let its size fool you, this tiny thing packs a punch. Whether I’m pottering about in the kitchen, out in the garden with the boys, or sneaking in a bit of ‘me time’ with some tracks in the bath, it’s been my go-to for portable tunes.

It’s super sleek and stylish and the soft-touch finish in this pretty pink is just gorgeous. Plus, it’s splashproof!
Charging is a doddle with the USB-C, and you get around 8 hours of playtime, so it’s perfect for beach days or picnics without worrying about it giving up out halfway through your playlist. Definitely a new fave!

Luxury Journal and Parker Pen

Is there even a journal out there that is as lush as the Sorrento Medium Leather Journal?! I think not.
There’s just something special about putting pen to paper, especially when your journal is as luxurious as this.
The leather cover gives it a really classic, quality feel. It’s beautifully made and has that stylish, slightly vintage look that makes it feel a bit special.
Inside, the paper is smooth and thick, so perfect for avoiding annoying ink bleeds (a must when you’re using a proper pen).
There’s plenty of space to get all your thoughts out, but it’s still compact enough to pop in your bag without weighing you down.
You also get a premium Parker Pen which is my favourite pen of all to write with. Both journal and pen come presented in a smart gift box, making this gorgeous set perfect for gifting.

New Dryer

Our tumble dryer gave up this month, so a new one was needed ASAP! I went for an Hisense model as this matches my washing machine. This is also the first heat pump tumble dryer we have had and so far it’s fantastic. It’s got loads of great features and dries the clothes in no time, which will be handy with my massive piles of laundry! They are a little more expensive , initially, but it soon pays for itself by lowering your electricity bill in the long run.

New Breakfast Choices

Holie’s kindly sent us some yummy breakfast cereals to try! The range includes granolas and crunchy mueslis, that are completely free from added sugar or sweeteners, but still manage to pack in loads of protein, fibre and most importantly, flavour.

There are several different varieties to choose from including Granola Protein Crunch, Granola Low Carb Crunch, Granola Protein Peanut Butter, Crunchy Muesli Chocolate, Crunchy Muesli Protein, and Crunchy Muesli 4 Nuts just to name a few! And not forgetting their crunchy bars.

The Granola Protein Peanut Butter was super filling! it definitely keeps you going all morning. It’s quite rich and a little on the nutty side for my personal taste, but still really enjoyable with a splash of cold milk or sprinkled over yoghurt.

The Chocolate Crunchy Muesli is really good! The clusters are just the right texture (not too hard, not too soft) and the chocolate flavour is lovely without tasting synthetic as I find a lot of chocolate flavoured foods do.

If you’re looking for a healthier start to the day or just something new to jazz up your breakfast routine, these are definitely worth a try.

Movies and Snacks

I had a lovely afternoon watching the BFG with my boys. We had a bowl of popcorn topped with some yummy treats.
These cosy times together makes me realise that it’s OK to take a break from work more often.

Chilling With Brucey

Bruce has been feeling his age lately and his arthritis has been giving him some grief. So, I love it when he gets a good day and enjoys some time in the garden with us. I’m so glad we adopted him when we did. I think our mission of making his retirement years with us, the best years he’s ever had, has been accomplished. He’s one content and very loved puppy dog!

Freak Marbles Collectables

Freak Marbles from Brainstorm bring a whole new twist to classic marble fun. They’re a cool collectable that takes gameplay to the next level! Each marble features full 360-degree character designs, trading points, interactive gameplay and unique skins that transform them into mini figurines. They’re perfect for both imaginative play and showing off on display.

There are 24 different characters to collect, but keep your eyes peeled for the ultra-rare ones and the ultimate find, the Golden Golem, which we got in our blind bag!

Kids can battle it out with friends, trade their favourites and mix them up. It’s marble madness with a seriously fun upgrade.

I think the skins make a really fun addition to the Freak Marbles!

So Slime!

We discovered some fun additions to the So Slime range from Canal Toys.

So Slime Sensations – ASMR Surprise Box

Cleaning

I don’t know if I am in the minority, but I love cleaning! Then again, I have to with how messy my lot can be.
Thanks to the lovely team at Asevi, my house smells amazing and the floors, gleaming! Even with two dogs.
I had heard so many good things about Asevi, so when I was kindly sent some of the range to try out, I couldn’t wait to test them.
I am not just saying this, but I think I have found a new favourite when it comes to cleaning our floors! The Asevi Pet floor cleaner firstly, smells absolutely amazing. The rooms once I’ve mopped through, smell so fresh and clean, and it really brings the floor tiles up super clean!
I am that impressed, I have since stocked up my cleaning cupboard with more.

Laundry Detergent Sheets

Have you ever used detergent sheets before? They are totally new to me, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with the Asevi Bands, but I’ve been really impressed! They’re so easy to use, mess-free, and surprisingly powerful for something so compact. Just pop a sheet in the wash and that’s it! No pouring, no spills. They left our clothes feeling clean, soft and with a lovely fresh scent.
They also work really well in cold and quick washes.
Definitely a game-changer for laundry day!

Asevi Air Freshener

Another gem from Asevi! I’ve been spritzing the Ocean Breeze Asevi Air freshener all over the house from rooms to furnishings and it’s another product I would use over and over again. I’m starting to see a pattern with Asevi, that the fragrances of their products are amazing! And they don’t dissipate like some brands, they last for ages.
Also loving the gas-free spray making it a really good eco-friendly choice for the cleaning cupboard.
I am a new Asevi fan!

A morning at Trentham

We enjoyed a walk around Trentham Gardens. It’s a nice way to spend a few hours. The lake walk is so relaxing, and the gardens are full of colour this time of year. It never feels too busy, and there’s something really calming about just wandering, spotting wildlife and finishing up with a drink or a browse in the shops. Always a favourite!
