I love making plans for things to do as a family, it’s nice to have lots to look forward to. I have done Summer bucket lists previously and crossed quite a few things to do, off the list. So I thought I’d compile a big list of all the things I would like to do with Craig and the kiddies this year. Have a nosy at our bucket list and see if there is anything that gives you some ideas.
Strawberry picking
Go on a picnic
Go to Thomas Land, Drayton Manor
Visit Cbeebies Land, Alton Towers
Go to Lego Land Windsor
Stay at one of the Center Parcs resorts
Visit Bluestone (I’ve heard so many awesome reviews about this place)
Try out some new places with The National Trust
Visit some historic landmarks for Jayden’s home schooling
Go to the Sealife Centre
Have a weekend pottering about around London
Go to the zoo
Build sandcastles on the beach
Find some nice spots for some family photos
Take the kids to Camp Bestival
Go on a Autumn scavenger hunt for crafts
Go to the Cinema
Have a drive around West Midlands Safari park, the kids love it there
I’m sure we will have loads of fun working through our list and hopefully add some more!
Do you have a bucket list?
Love this idea x
Not done this, but having read your 2017 Bucket List, I think I may sit down with the girls and draw up our own. You’ve got some really fun things to do there and I’m sure the kids will adore Legoland, my girls still loved it up to a couple of years ago. Have a great year #MMBC x
Fantastic ideas….I hope you get to do everything!
That sounds like a great bunch of things to do – and not too many! I find sometimes bucket lists read as overwhelming. We don’t create them here, but I am hoping to write down a few things we want to do this summer. I like that you’ve combined simple (picnic) with more elaborate (vacations and theme parks). Should keep your year interesting and fun! Good luck and have fun working through your list!

I like the look of your bucket list. We’ve held great things about Bluestone too.
There’s a really nice mix of things to do on this list! Good luck!
interested to read you are home educating. we are at the stage of having to apply (or not) for my son’s reception year and I really want to Home Educate him x
I would love to take our kids to Camp Bestival, if I did keep a bucket list this would be on it!
As a history nerd its a thumbs up from me for you visiting historic landmarks for Jayden’s home schooling. Did you have any in mind?
What a fab idea to have a bucket list for the year and all great ideas too! I hope to do all of these too, making memories is what it’s all about. #MMBC
Wow exciting days out to come for you all. Nice.
I still haven’t wrote ours. This looks fab. I hope to go strawberry picking again this year x
Hi Jayne, I have trouble knowing what I’d like to do next weekend alone this year, but I’d happily tag along with you. Saying that though I’d love this year to be the year we head to the mainland for a weekend of walking, but we shall see.
Strawberry picking and visiting National Trust places sound the best. Center Parcs resorts always look so good, I hope you manage to get to one. I have no idea what Bluestone is , guess whatI’m Googling next?
xx
I love a good list. What a lot of fun you’ll have as you work your way through yours. #MMBC
What a GREAT bucket list! We are going to put ours together this weekend.
