Thomas & Friends – The Christmas Engines DVD

Monkey is a big fan of Thomas the Tank engine and has been since a toddler.

We recently had the opportunity to watch the New Thomas & Friends – The Christmas Engines DVD.

Synopsis

Where Thomas and his friends are in holly, jolly Christmas spirits, ready to be Santa’s engine helpers! Percy brings holiday fun to Reg at the scrapyard, while Duncan tries to overcome his bah humbug attitude. Thomas clears the snowy tracks so Connor can race passengers home in time for Christmas. James causes confusion and delay helping Duck get unstuck, as an old friend returns to Sodor bringing Percy the perfect gift. Join Thomas & Friends™ as they deliver Christmas cheer!

So with a wet and windy day, we got snuggly on the sofa and watched the DVD.

The dvd is just over an hour long, broken up into 5 short stories.

1. Last Train for Christmas
2. Long Lost Friend
3. Duncan The Humbug
4. Duck in the Water
5. The Perfect Gift

There is a little interval between each episode where there are little stories and puzzles with the Fat Controller and Mr Perkins the Train Driver, all keeping the little ones interested and involved.

Monkey said he really enjoyed the DVD his words were  “that was cool, I loved it”.

I think this would make a lovely stocking filler or ideal to put in a Christmas eve box maybe?
