National Geographic Mini Dig Kit Review

Being Bandai STEM ambassadors we get to try out lots of awesome National Geographic kits, which make learning so much fun! We have built our own volcano, learned about geodes, grown our very own crystals and discovered sea monkeys! We have explored and discovered so many cool things on this earth.
This month we have been sent three mini dig kits.

The three mini dig kits we received were the dino poop, treasure and shark tooth. All of which have a genuine specimen inside!
You can do these activities indoors or out. We chose to do them outdoors, as the weather was quite nice out and it saved us having to cover up the table (they can get a little dusty). You can use goggles as a protective measure, but we found if you soak the casing first it will keep the dust to a minimum and will crumble away from the specimen with little effort.

National geographic mini dig kits are ideal to take away on holiday to use as boredom busters should the heavens open and scupper your plans!  And they hardly take up any room at all.

Each kit comes with lots of fun facts about the specimen inside, which makes it a really interesting way to learn.
Once excavated these specimens also make fab collectables. We have quite the collection now including a dinosaur poo fossil!

Starting at just £4.99 a kit it is great value for money. I think they would be a perfect stocking filler or a fun activity for Christmas Eve boxes to keep the children entertained before the big day.
