We had quite rubbish weather here so I managed to work on my book and catch up on some jobs around the house. There’s always plenty of those to do!

Saturday was beautiful here in the South East, so much so that we sat in the garden on Saturday but yesterday I spent the day in bed with a head cold which wasn’t great! They do fly past fast these weekends.
Weekends go way too fast here too! The weather hasn’t been that bad here, it’s been dry but a lot colder than it has been.

Since we are retired, ironically we work harder than ever before. Because I don’t have to commute to “work” anymore, I don’t have a clock out time either. Our little homestead keeps me pretty busy, but so far I am enjoying it. The weekends however do go by fast, as we try to pack in as much as is possible! I had a touch of the stomach flu over the weekend (never a great way to spend time) but, thankfully, I’m on the road to recovery and we’re headed to the lake for a few days. Thanks, as always, for hosting us all, Jayne! We love this community!
