Monday Morning Blog Club 23/10/23

A black mug of tea placed on top of a book. There is a fireplace in the background with a roaring fire.

Happy Monday! And welcome to this week’s #MMBC. I am so sorry if you were waiting to link up last week. I did mention in the Facebook group that we were in Wales and sadly my husband had his wallet pinched, which had around £300 cash and all of his cards. Thank god we had the majority of our money and other cards in my purse!
It turned out to be a woman using her child to pickpocket people in a family arcade! Yes, sadly some people really are scum of the earth. I found it all quite overwhelming, it was absolutely sh*t!
We had so much to sort out and the police and holiday park are still working on it and sharing CCTV footage, so fingers crossed it’s just a matter of time until she is caught.

Feature of the Week will resume next week.

Now it’s time to share these wonderful blogs. Thank you so much for bearing with me and I hope you have a lovely week!

  1. How horrible that you were pickpocketed! 🙁 And that someone used a child to do it. I assume they were really desperate beyond measure in more ways than one. Sad.

  2. I’m new to your linky, and happy to have found you but sorry to hear you were pickpocketed. I hope you were able to get the cards stopped promptly and not lose even more money. It’s such a lot of hassle and inconvenience on top of the loss of cash. Sending hugs.

    1. Aw thanks Julie. Yes, luckily we got the cards all stopped. Good job because she was trying to use the cards on Amazon shortly afterwards! Over £300 cash obviously wasn’t enough.
Thanks so much for joining in this week!

  3. I’m so sorry to hear that happened to your family! I can only imagine how overwhelming that experience must have been for you and your husband! Praying that all gets resolved soon!

Thanks so much for hosting! We love stopping by!

  4. What a horrid experience. Such a tragic start to life for a kid. You know life isn’t getting better when that’s how it starts. I hope you get it all straightened out and they nail the woman exploiting the kid.
