Hi and welcome to this week’s #MMBC. I’ve had a ‘slower pace than normal’ kind of weekend.
On Friday last week, I decided to get my foot caught up in the vacuum cable and go flying across the kitchen floor! That is the nearest I have come to doing the splits in over 30 years! Haha. I can laugh now, but it’s a wonder I didn’t break my leg how I landed.
Thankfully, I have only pulled a hamstring so I’ve been hobbling about all weekend and feeling very uncomfortable.
It seems so much better today, so no more gymnastics for me!

How was your weekend?

  1. Oh no that doesn’t sound pleasant, thank goodness you didn’t do any serious damage. Housework is obviously dangerous and I prescribe a week off for you!
    Hope you feel better soon.

  2. Oh golly! I’m so sorry that you almost did the splits without meaning to! A pulled hamstring can cause a lot of angst though, especially when you are busy packing up! Hoping you continue to recover quickly, Jayne!

  3. Oh no! I’m sorry you pulled a hamstring but glad you didn’t break your leg! It sounds like you need to invest in a cordless vacuum cleaner!
