It’s that time of year again where the internet starts to flow with gift guides. This week we are are sharing our Kids Christmas gift guide, which is packed with loads of gift ideas for both boys and girls of all ages. I hope it gives you some inspiration!

Kids Christmas Gift Guide 2017

3 Hape Wooden Toys
You can’t go wrong with puzzles and they are a nice activity to do on a rainy day. I love these wooden puzzles and they are really colourful too. There are so many different designs but my favourites are the tractor puzzle and the rainbow cat puzzle.

4 Miffy Classic Shape Sorter
Another lovely classic wooden toy. The Miffy shape sorter has bright bold colours and is perfect to encourage fine motor skills and shape recognition.

5 Chipmunks Novelty Slippers
I couldn’t think of a better way to snuggle up this winter other than wearing these fun novelty slippers. There are lots of different characters to choose from, such as Lionel the Lion, Sharky Shark and many more. All of Chipmunks Slippers have a touch and close tab making them easy for little ones to put them on by themselves.

 

6 Kid K’nex Ocean Pals Building Set
K’nex building sets are a fab way to introduce your little ones to STEAM. They provide hours of fun and are great for all of the family to play. This particular set is ideal for those younger builders out there.

7 Little Tikes My First Drone
This cool little remote controlled Drone is specially designed for preschoolers. It flies, turns and lands with a simple to use one-touch control. Flip N Tip Fred is an interactive recycling truck. Little ones can enjoy learning all about recycling by sorting out rubbish in the paper, glass and garden refuge bins. This fun motorised truck is excellent for teaching little ones the importance of looking after the environment whilst enjoying lots of imaginative play.

9 Super Wings World Airport
Little ones will have probably seen Jett and the Super Wings over on Cartoonito. My youngest is already a big fan of the fun-loving characters that deliver packages to children all around the world. This fab playset really brings the show to life. It has lots of realistic sounds and lights, little ones will love reenacting their favourite episodes. It has loads of great features including a rotating luggage carasol, a lift, a launch ramp and a spinning fly bar. You get two characters included so kids can get playing almost straight away!

 

10 Hot Wheels Roto Revolution 
Car lovers are going to love this fun fast-paced track. Two players can compete against each other by launching their car into the rotating track. Loop around the track hitting your opponents car as you go. You get two cars included with this playset, so play can begin as soon as it is assembled. It is a game of strategy, accuracy and sparks the imagination.

11 Grit Atom Blue Stunt Scooter 2018 
This scooter is ideal for stunt beginners. It features Y bars for strength and Abec 7 bearings for speed. My eldest loves his scooter and would go literally everywhere on it if he could. He is starting to try out different manoeuvres now so I feel this model will be ideal for him. It really is a good choice for younger riders as it has quite a light frame, so it’s easier to manage. The Grit Atom Stunt Scooter is available in a wide range of funky colours and has a very reasonable price tag too!

12 WowWee Fingerlings 
These cute little monkeys have taken the world by storm! These fun interactive finger hugging animals talk, sing, play and sleep. You can put them on your finger, hang them on a shelf, pop them on top of your pencil, the options are endless. I think these will be on a lot of wish-lists this year.

13 Disney Guess The Film Game
The whole family can test their knowledge on all things Disney with this fab game from Jumbo. Take your turn to roll the dice and open a door with the corresponding colour. There is an image from a Disney film behind each door. Who will know what film it is from? I think this would make a lovely gift for all Disney fans out there.

14 K’nex Thrill Rides Web Weaver Roller Coaster Building Set
We are massive K’Nex fans so it is no surprise that they have made our gift guide. This set has a whopping 430 pieces to build a gigantic 2.5 feet high roller coaster. Once built watch the air controlled car go whizzing around the track. Turn off the lights and see it glow in the dark! This is another fab playset that helps develop the understanding of STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, arts and math). They can build, design and play to their hearts content.

16 Little Tikes Princess Horse & Carriage
Imagine waking up to this Christmas morning. I wish they did one of these for adults I tell you! This fab ride on from Little Tikes is just magical. The horses head moves from side to side as it is pulled along and it has realistic sounds of horses feet clopping along.

17 Sylvanian Families Starry Point Lighthouse

I don’t think Sylvanian Families will ever die out. I remember playing with them as a child and they are still creating fun playsets to this day. This lovely lighthouse set has lots of fab features. The light from the lighthouse will project twinkling stars on the ceiling. pop in one of the 3 slides to view either stars, the moon or fireworks. It also comes with accessories to kit out the rooms.

18 My Golden Ticket by Wonderbly
We are huge fans of Wonderbly. Their personalised books are just beautiful. A couple of our favourites being Kingdom Of You and The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home. My Golden Ticket is in collaboration with Roald Dahl’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Only in this story, your child is the star! This book would be lovely to pop into a Christmas Eve box.
