I’ve always wondered if it’s worth getting a robot vacuum cleaner, so when we recently partnered up with Geemo Tech to review one, I was super excited to finally find out for myself if a robot vacuum cleaner is worthy of the hype.
Moosoo MT710 Robot Vacuum Cleaner
On opening up the box we were very impressed with how snazzy the MT710 robot vacuum looked. It’s super sleek with a piano black gloss finish. After I got over the excitement of that, we popped the brushes into place and turned it on. That’s when I was totally blown away when Moosoo spoke to us, what a very clever vacuum!
You also get a spare filter, a remote control and a base for charging.
You can choose from three different cleaning modes.
- Manual clean (via the remote)
- Designated on the spot clean
- Edge clean
- Turbo mode
- Twice cleaning
How do I rate the performance of the Moosoo MT710 Vacuum Cleaner?
Brilliant, that is all. I could not believe just after 20 minutes of the Moosoo pottering around the house, the dust box looked like this! Bearing in mind that I had already vacuumed downstairs with my Dyson earlier on. I couldn’t believe how well this performed for such a little piece of kit. I never thought that the performance of the vacuum would be on par with a large upright, however, I could not have been more wrong.
The robot has infrared sensors so it can cleverly detect walls and stairs. It even made easy work of navigating between the wooden floors and the rugs. The biggest advantage for me is that it can take itself off underneath your sofa and coffee tables meaning that there really is nowhere for the dirt to hide.
I also love how when it is finished, it takes itself back to charge at the base. A full charge which takes around 5 hours will give you 2 hours of cleaning.
You can even pair up the Moosoo MT710 to the Smart Life App and control the vacuum when you are out of the house.
Is it worth buying a robot vacuum?
After testing the Moosoo MT710 robot vacuum I would say yes, definitely. I was more than impressed with how the Moosoo robot vac performed. It is absolutely lovely to go out and leave it cleaning the house. It’s just like having your own private cleaner without the bill!

We have thought about a robot vacuum, especially since I cannot use a vacuum myself. At the moment it’s the cost that puts me off, but this sounds like a reasonable investment. I’m not sure what the cats would make of it though, good job they have hidey places to go when my husband gets the vacuum out.
I love the idea of a robot vacuum although I do worry that it would accidentally hoover up small parts from toys left on the floor! I’ve always wondered if they did as good a job as a ‘normal’ vacuum cleaner so it’s good to be reassured on that front. #MMBC

I have a robot vacuum and I love it because I’m lazy and don’t notice dirt until it’s extremely obvious. My mother has one that she loves too; she notices dirt right away, but has health issues that keep her from cleaning.
