Hexbug has some pretty cool new playsets available at the moment. The new Nano Flash range have built-in LED lights and my eldest loves them. We have kindly been sent the Hexbug Nano Flash Orbit playset to review.

Hexbug Nano Flash Orbit Set Age 3+ Years

We are no stranger to Hexbugs. My eldest has quite the collection already. Hexbugs, if you are unfamiliar with them, are little robotic bugs that scurry around super fast just like real bugs. They vibrate around the floor in order to move.
The Nano Flash Hexbugs come in 5 different colours and have a built-in LED which illuminates the track as it goes along. They move at twice the speed of a regular nano and are much bigger in size too.

The orbit playset has jelly-like tracks that are super flexible, enabling you to create any shaped track or habitat that you wish! There are little white connection pieces that the tracks push into and it is easy enough for little hands to manage as you don’t need hardly any force to connect them.

As the tracks are made from rubber, they hold their position much better on the floor and keep the Hexbugs contained, because Hexbugs can make an escape at warp speed! Many times the kids have been giggling whilst trying to catch an escapee Hexbug as it runs off across the room.

There are plenty more Hexbug playsets to expand your collection and you can find more info on these at Hexbug.com and *Amazon.
